The documentary focuses on the history and the impact of Samba Reggae music, using the case study of “bloco Paranaue”, an Afro-Brazilian percussion band in Thessaloniki, Greece. The last 15 years Paranaue constitutes a core of diffusion of the Afro-Brazilian culture, similar to the “blocos afros” of Salvador/Bahia, Brazil.
