Searching for the Sugarman in Samos
170 viewers attended the PreFest Screening of the Aegeandocs with the film “Searching the Sugarman” in an open air mobile cinema at the lovely venue of Malagari -Samos Photos by samosbook.blogspot.com. The screening was part of the Island Summer Movie Festival organized by the #Samos Cine-Glub , the local partner of AegeanDocs Festival.The programm of the Summer Festival included documentaries screenings provided by the International Thessaloniki Film Festival, theatrical performances , interactive music and audiovisual shows and concerts with rock bands .
Prefest Screening in Mytilene
The film “I will Marry the Whole Village”‘ directed by Jelico Milkovic,Serbia will be screened at the Municipality Theater in Mytilini September 5, 21.00 in a PreFest screening of the upcoming AegeanDocs 2 ,September 20-28.
“The Serbian village of Gornji Mateijevac has all the prerequisites for a normal life: electricity, running water, sewage, paved roads, a school, and Internet.” Forty-eight-year-old Peca’s description sounds almost like an ad, and not without reason, for he sees it as his personal mission to get himself and the more than 200 other bachelors in his village hitched. He cheerfully pulls out all the stops to get his friends ready for their big day.
